Clio Announces Finalists for the $100,000 Launch//Code Contest for Best New Integration

September 18, 2018

The five finalists will present three-minute pitches to an industry-leading panel at the 2018 Clio Cloud Conference in the hopes of taking home the $100,000 Launch//Code grand prize.

Vancouver, BC — (September 18, 2018) – Today, Clio, the leader in cloud-based legal practice management, announced the five finalists who will compete for the $100,000 Launch//Code contestgrand prize for best new integration with Clio.

“We are thrilled about this extremely strong and diverse group of partners and the powerful apps they have built that integrate directly with Clio,” said Jack Newton, CEO and Co-founder of Clio. “The Launch//Code contest is just a glimpse at what Clio customers can look forward to as Clio’s platform continues to grow and attract world-class partners.”

Over the past year, Clio received over 50 submissions to the Launch//Code contest. Finalists were judged on the quality of their integration, level of innovation, and market impact, with five finalists selected to present at the 2018 Clio Cloud Conference in New Orleans, Louisiana on October 4.

The five finalists include:

ClientSherpa – takes the guesswork out of building a friendly and efficient client onboarding experience. With online consultation scheduling, automated client follow-up, and the ability to create custom forms for every matter, firms can securely collect the information they need, have fewer no-shows and more happy, engaged clients.

Logikcull – automates the tedious and expensive process of eDiscovery and data management in litigation and investigations. When firms drag and drop files into Logikcull.com, they are securely uploaded to Logikcull’s cloud-based software and are automatically processed and organized for review, allowing firms to securely conduct searches, tag documents, create notes, remove irrelevant material, and share or produce documents seamlessly.

MyFirmData – allows firms to create custom reports using relevant information stored in Clio, including financial data and custom fields. These reports can then be previewed and exported for further work and analysis, saved to run on-demand, or scheduled to run anytime.

Tali – eliminates the administrative burden of time entry by seamlessly tracking a lawyer’s time throughout the day using nothing more than their voice. Tali works with any Amazon Alexa-enabled device, including mobile phones, making it a time-tracking assistant that goes wherever you go.

Your Firm App – provides law firms with a custom-branded native application for their clients on iOS and Android. Through its integration with Clio, Your Firm App improves law firm client communication by providing mobile messaging between attorney and client, calendar updates, task list creation, document uploading and review, and bill payment, right in the palm of the client’s hand.

The finalists will be required to present a three-minute pitch on their app’s innovation, impact, and business potential to a panel of industry experts, including:

·         Jack Newton, CEO and Co-founder of Clio

·         Jules Miller, Partner at IBM’s Blockchain Accelerator and Partner and Co-founder of Prose Ventures

·         Bob Ambrogi, Founder of the popular Lawsites blog and experienced legal-tech enthusiast

·         Billie Tarascio, a Clio customer and the owner of the Modern Law Firm

The winner will be announced on the main stage during the Closing Keynote of the Clio Cloud Conference on Friday, October 5, 2018. Individuals interested in attending the Clio Cloud Conference are encouraged to visit cliocloudconference.com.
